| This bridge is the one that everyone talks about. It is 49' high so our Gemini's go right under it, although I have to say that I ducked. It is just before the lock leading out onto the lake. A very easy lock, with helpful tenders. I single handed all the locks from Annapolis through Okeechobee. The only lock that gave me any trouble was the last one, and it wasn't bad, I just wasn't offered any help, such as waiting until I was in position before tossing the lines so I had to scramble around trying to grab the slimy lines and secure them while the boat wanted to float away! Nice guys! |
